First magistrate attested in Athens in 149/148 BC. From Thorikos. Belonging to the same family as his colleague, the second magistrate Timarchides – either his brother (Thompson 1961, p. 579) or his cousin (Habicht 1991, p. 7) – he was member of a family of famous Athenian sculptors: See M.
