The mint of the counts of Gruyère in the town of Gruyère, canton of Fribourg. Even though the counts of Gruyère got the right
to mint since 1396, they only used it very briefly in 1552. The Gruyère groats were cried down by Bern and Fribourg only two
month after their first appearence. The county of Gruyère went bankrupt only two years later in 1554.
