Magistrate in Cyzicus/Mysia c. AD 138 to 165. He is attested holding different offices during the Antonine period. His name appears on coins issued under Antoninus Pius with the addition "strategos" (RPC IV,2 (online) Temp. nos. 679 and 7777), "archon" (RPC IV,2 (online) Temp. nos. 678, 2321-2322, 2658, 9685), and "hipparchos" (RPC IV,2 (online) Temp. no. 677 with EΠΙ ΚΛ ΕСΤΙΑΙΟV Β ΙΠΠΑΡΧΕ - the only type adding "B", "the younger"). Under Lucius Verus and Marcus Aurelius he is named "neokoros" (sic) (RPC IV,2 (online) Temp. nos. 680, 2325, 2331, and 2993). Lit.: W.
