Third magistrate attested in Athens in 135/134 BC [issue 30]. Then attested as second magistrate twice, in 133/132 BC [issue
32], and again in 131/130 BC [issue 34]. From Philaidai. Probably father of Nikogenes the younger (ΝΙΚΟΓ ΝΕ[ώτερος]), who
also was one of the third magistrates of issue 30 (Thompson 1961, p. 576). In his youth victor in Panathenaic games twice,
