Adalbero II was a bishop in Basel at the beginning of the 11th century. He is mentioned for the first time when King Rudolf III of Burgundy gave him the Abbey of Moutier-Grandval with all its goods. This also marks the birth of the prince-bishopric of Basel. He was the first bishop in Basel to issue coins.
