Bellpuig

Definition
The Christian medieval mint located in the town of Sariñena, in the province of Huesca (autonomous community of Aragon, Spain), played an essential role during the reign of King James II of Aragon (1291-1327). The minting production of the Jaca mint was transferred to Sariñena, and it started minting dineros jaqueses from 1307.
