The Egypt Centre is a museum of roughly 6,000 objects, which is situated on the Singleton Campus of Swansea University. The museum houses objects from Egypt and the ancient world, including Greece, Rome, Cyprus, Mesopotamia, and Nubia. The majority of the objects originate from the collection of the pharmaceutical magnate Sir Henry Wellcome (1853–1936), which was dispursed by the Wellcome trustees in 1971.
